rinf.tech Opens the Third Office in Romania to Fuel its Global Growth

Romanian-based technology company rinf.tech opened its 3rd office in Romania. The new office is located in Cluj-Napoca, the Cluj Business Campus, and can host up to 100 software developers. The company is in full growth with 100 open positions in the IT market.

We’re thrilled to announce that last week, we opened our 3rd office in Romania, in Cluj-Napoca.

The new tech hub designed for technology consulting services and custom engineering solutions is based in Cluj-Napoca, in one of the new Cluj Business Campus buildings.

Designed as a space for innovative and collaborative teams, the workspace can host up to 100 software engineers from the tech community in Cluj.

The local “Rinfers community” in Romania has been constantly growing over the past years, with more than 60 employees at this point in Cluj and a target of 100 new roles (both remote and on-prem) to be recruited within Romania by the end of the year.  Besides the newly opened office in Cluj, rinf.tech has Romanian offices in Bucharest and Timisoara.

“We are grateful to have the opportunity to expand our operations in Cluj-Napoca. We see great potential to collaborate with talented engineers from Cluj-Napoca and deliver exceptional products to the global market. Similar to previous investments in robotics in Bucharest, we expect to create an innovation lab in Cluj. We have high expectations for this opening! Thank you, Cluj-Napoca!” said Constantin Iftime, rinf.tech’s co-founder and VP of Strategic Projects.

The newly opened office in Cluj is part of rinf.tech’s expansion plan. The company already has a strong presence both in Romania and on the European and American markets, with offices and Delivery Centers in Berlin, Kyiv, Istanbul, Sofia, Guadalajara and Detroit, MI.

Our new workspace represents one of the main values of rinf.tech: #grow. Each office in Romania is created as ‘our place to #grow’ and has common elements designed to fit the needs of modern software engineers no matter the office chosen. This office is a statement to the unity of our brand identity, meticulously planned and executed. Wherever you are – Cluj, Timisoara, or Bucharest – you will find a ‘Rinfers hub’ that feels familiar, yet exciting. A place that caters to the needs of our colleagues, echoes the aspirations, and fuels the ambition of our teams,’ said Manuela Serban, Chief People Officer of rinf.tech.

As we live in a dynamic and abundant world, we have the privilege of witnessing firsthand how innovation is born from the intelligent mix of technology, creativity, and determination,’ added Victor Dornescu, rinf.tech’s co-founder & Chief Innovation Officer. ‘During my years in London and Paris, I witnessed Cluj-Napoca being more known in the tech circles there than Bucharest or Budapest, because of exactly the Transylvanian way of doing things right and steady, not head on, but just simply better than the ad-minimum expected. I find this crucial for tech products everywhere. It’s in the crossover of these elements that our motto comes to life. This new office is a statement of that belief especially now in the early days of generative AI.”

The new working space in Cluj-Napoca will be used not only for crafting technical solutions by the rinf.tech’s teams, but also for client visits and tech community events.

Earlier this year, rinf.tech was rewarded with the prize for Outsourcing software project of the year at the Employer`s Association of the Software and Services Industry (ANIS) Gala. The company was rewarded for a custom Digitization of Transportation solution that’s currently running on UK trains, ensuring higher passenger safety and helping prevent on-train vandalism and trespass.
